Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup sweet and sour sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch, dip them in beaten eggs, and then fry in a pan with oil until golden and crispy.
- Remove the chicken and keep it warm. In the same pan, sauté the bell pepper and onion until soft.
- Add the sweet and sour sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the pan, stirring to coat in the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.
