Ingredients
- 2 pound (907 g) hot beef sausage
- 2 8-oz packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 30-32 oz (879 g) bag froz en shredded hash browns
- 1 tbsp (15 ml). salt
- 1/2 tbsp (8 ml). pepper
- 1/4 tbsp (4 ml). garlic powder
- 1/4 tbsp (4 ml). onion powder
- 2 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs
- 2 c milk
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350°F to preheat.
- Brown the sausage in a pan, then drain the excess grease.
- Mix the cooked sausage with the cream cheese.
- In the same pan, lightly cook the hash browns.
- Place the hash browns in a 9×13 inch baking dish, add the sausage and cream cheese mixture on top, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk until combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes until the top is set and golden.
