A delicious fusion of a juicy hamburger wrapped in crispy tortillas, filled with melted cheese and a zesty spicy mayo.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 large tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper. Shape into burger patties.
- Cook the patties on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat until the desired doneness.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and hot sauce for the sauce.
- On one tortilla, sprinkle a layer of cheese, place the cooked burger patty on top, and pour some sauce over it.
- Top with the second tortilla and press down.
- Cook in a skillet over medium heat until the tortillas are golden brown and cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, let the cooked patties rest before assembling. Consider adding vegetables like sautéed onions or peppers.
