An indulgent dessert with rich chocolate flavors and creamy pudding, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 packages instant Oreo pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container whipped topping (8 oz)
- 12 Oreos (crushed)
- Optional: Chocolate syrup for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan with a light coating of cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool, then poke holes all over using the handle of a wooden spoon.
- In a medium bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the pudding over the cake, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for one hour.
- Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer and top with crushed Oreos.
Notes
For an extra crunch, mix in some crushed Oreos into the pudding. For best flavor, chill overnight.
