Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup rice (long-grain or white)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the rice, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
