Description

A hearty and comforting one-pot meal combining ground beef, rice, and melted cheeses, perfect for busy households.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice (long-grain or white)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the rice, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust seasoning to your preference and feel free to add vegetables for variation.
