Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares and enjoy!
