Description

A delightful cake that melts in the mouth, offering a fluffy texture and rich flavor with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 150 grams (1 ½ cups) of all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml (½ cup) of water
  • 100 ml (½ cup) of milk
  • 80 grams (â…“ cup) of butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of milk
  • 150 grams (¾ cup) of sugar
  • 100 grams (1 cup) of all-purpose flour (additional)
  • 2 large eggs (additional)
  • 180 grams (¾ cup) of butter (additional)
  • Icing sugar or your favorite garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the dough. In a large mixing bowl, combine 150 grams of all-purpose flour, 80 grams of butter, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix these dry ingredients thoroughly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 100 ml of water, 100 ml of milk, and 4 large eggs until well combined. Gradually fold this mixture into the dry ingredients until fully integrated.
  3. Pour this batter into a prepared cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven until lightly golden, usually around 25-30 minutes.
  4. While the cake bakes, prepare the cream filling. In a saucepan, combine 500 ml of milk with 150 grams of sugar. Heat this mixture over medium heat until warm.
  5. In another bowl, mix 100 grams of all-purpose flour with 2 large eggs until smooth. Gradually pour this mixture into the warm milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and mix in 180 grams of butter.
  6. Once the cake is baked and cooled, slice it in half horizontally. Spread the cream filling generously between the layers.
  7. Close the cake, allowing the filling to seep into the layers. Dust the top with icing sugar or your favorite garnish before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for better flavor. Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing to maintain texture. Experiment with flavors in the cream filling.
