Ingredients

- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (for frosting)
- 1-2 tablespoons milk (for consistency)

Instructions
- Start by creaming together the softened butter and brown sugar with the electric mixer for about 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Mix until everything comes together smoothly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients while mixing on low speed.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each ball slightly.
