Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pound cooked bacon, chopped
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (12 oz) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain the grease.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish and stir in the chopped, cooked bacon.
- Whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, and three-quarters of the shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese, then bake for 30–35 minutes until the dish is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
