This Low-Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the ease of a casserole, making it the perfect hearty family dinner that supports a keto lifestyle.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound cooked bacon, chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (12 oz) package shredded Cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain the grease.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish and stir in the chopped, cooked bacon.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, and three-quarters of the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish.
