Description

A comforting pasta dish that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with creamy Alfredo sauce, perfect for cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Penne Pasta (or fusilli/rigatoni)
  • 1 cup Alfredo Sauce (homemade recommended)
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 oz Bacon (turkey bacon optional)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Pickles (for crunch)
  • 1/2 cup Onions (for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the penne pasta to the pot and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  5. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, draining any excess fat.
  6. In the same skillet, add the bacon and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Stir in the chopped onions and sauté until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the beef and bacon mixture.
  9. Pour in the Alfredo sauce, stir to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  10. Add the chopped pickles into the mix, allowing them to warm slightly.
  11. Remove from heat and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, covering until melted.

Notes

Opt for homemade Alfredo sauce for a richer flavor. Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add more pickles for extra crunch.
