Description

A delightful dessert combining layers of lemon, blueberry, and cheesecake flavors in an easy-to-make dump cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) blueberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth in a bowl.
  3. Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the blueberry filling.
  5. Combine the yellow cake mix with the melted butter until crumbly in another bowl; sprinkle this over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Top with fresh blueberries for added flavor.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
