A delightful dessert combining layers of lemon, blueberry, and cheesecake flavors in an easy-to-make dump cake.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (21 oz) blueberry pie filling
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth in a bowl.
- Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the blueberry filling.
- Combine the yellow cake mix with the melted butter until crumbly in another bowl; sprinkle this over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with fresh blueberries for added flavor.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
