A flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs, jalapenos, and a sweet and salty honey-soy sauce served over rice.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken thighs
- 1 medium onion
- 1-2 jalapeno peppers (adjust for spice level)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 2-3 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop the onions and jalapeno peppers.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce and honey to make the sweet and salty sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown.
- Add the onions and jalapenos, cooking until they are tender.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and mix well.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
For air fryer method, cook at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
