Description

A flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs, jalapenos, and a sweet and salty honey-soy sauce served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1-2 jalapeno peppers (adjust for spice level)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2-3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Chop the onions and jalapeno peppers.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce and honey to make the sweet and salty sauce.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown.
  6. Add the onions and jalapenos, cooking until they are tender.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken and mix well.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds.
  9. Serve over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

For air fryer method, cook at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
