Description

A delightful snack made with silky soft tofu, sweet caramel sauce, and chewy sago pearls, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 11 ounces (312 grams) extra soft tofu
  • 1 cup cooked sago pearls, flavored with brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for the arnibal
  • 1/4 cup water for melting the sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the arnibal by combining brown sugar, water, and vanilla extract in a pan over low heat. Stir continuously until caramelized.
  2. Pour the soft tofu into a cup and microwave for about 5 minutes or steam for 10 minutes until warmed through.
  3. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of the caramelized brown sugar over the heated tofu and add about 2 tablespoons of cooked sago.
  4. Serve the homemade Taho warm for the best experience.

Notes

Experiment with sweetness levels and try adding cinnamon or salt to your arnibal for a unique flavor.
