Description

A delicious and nutritious tuna egg salad that captures the comfort of summer picnics with a creamy dressing and fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (3.5oz) cans tuna, drained well and flaked
  • 3 chilled hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish

Instructions

  1. In a medium-large bowl, mix the mayo, Dijon mustard, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until a creamy, thick dressing forms.
  2. Add the flaked tuna, chopped hard-boiled eggs, red onion, and pickle relish to the bowl.
  3. Toss everything together to thoroughly coat the ingredients with the dressing.
  4. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Serve over greens, on toast, or with crackers and fresh-cut veggies.

Notes

Consider chilling the salad before serving to enhance flavors. You can also experiment with optional add-ins like chopped celery or diced pickles for extra crunch.
