Description

A rich and creamy ground venison stroganoff, perfect for cozy family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Cook ground venison until browned.
  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms, cooking until softened.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Slowly add beef broth, stirring continuously until thickened.
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until blended.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot over egg noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
