Description

A comforting garlic Parmesan meatloaf that evokes nostalgia and warmth, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or mix with turkey)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional glaze: garlic butter or marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Transfer mixture into a parchment-lined loaf pan or shape freehand on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. If desired, brush with garlic butter or marinara sauce during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to maintain juiciness.

Notes

Experiment with spices for a personalized flavor. Resting the meatloaf enhances texture, and doubling the recipe is great for leftovers.
