A simple and delightful dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split with the ease of a dump cake.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Fresh fruit (for topping)
- Optional: chocolate syrup for drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish, then layer the sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the layers of fruit.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Top with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
