Description

A simple and delightful dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split with the ease of a dump cake.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Fresh fruit (for topping)
  • Optional: chocolate syrup for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish, then layer the sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the layers of fruit.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Top with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe bananas for optimal sweetness and consider experimenting with different fruits or adding nuts for extra texture.
