Description
Delicious and crispy salmon bites coated in panko breadcrumbs, served with a zesty Bang Bang sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the flour with salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the panko breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Dip each salmon piece into the flour, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the salmon bites and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve the crispy salmon bites drizzled with the sauce and garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For an extra crispy texture, consider double-coating the salmon before frying.
