Description

Delicious and crispy salmon bites coated in panko breadcrumbs, served with a zesty Bang Bang sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha or hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season the flour with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the panko breadcrumbs in another bowl.
  3. Dip each salmon piece into the flour, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the salmon bites and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  7. Serve the crispy salmon bites drizzled with the sauce and garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, consider double-coating the salmon before frying.
