Description
A simple yet indulgent dessert made with fresh mangoes, sago pearls, and creamy coconut milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sago or mini tapioca pearls
- 6 cups water
- 2 fresh mangoes (either Australian or regular)
- ½ cup condensed milk
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
Instructions
- In a pot, add sago pearls and water.
- Turn the heat to medium-low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- After 10 minutes, cover the pot with a lid, turn off the heat, and let the sago rest for 3 minutes.
- Drain the sago pearls and run them under cold water.
- Cut fresh mangoes into cubes and place half in a blender.
- Add condensed milk and coconut milk to the blender and blend until smooth.
- Gently fold in the drained sago pearls.
- Serve topped with remaining fresh mango cubes.
Notes
For a refreshing twist, consider adding a bit of lime or lemon juice.
