A rich and comforting creamy beef pasta that brings warmth and flavor to family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 box rotini pasta (3-4 cups)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 diced white onion
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Fully cook the ground beef. Once fully cooked, drain any excess oil.
- Add the Cajun seasoning, diced onion, and minced garlic to the ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, or until the onions are soft.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste.
- Add the rotini pasta and beef broth to the mixture.
- Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 15-18 minutes until the pasta is soft.
- Remove the lid and add the heavy whipping cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For a spicier kick, increase the red pepper flakes. You can also substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
