Description

A delightful layered dessert combining rich chocolate and creamy layers, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package regular Oreos (1 pound or 48 cookies, ½ reserved for top layer)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1 small package chocolate pudding (3.9 ounces)
  • 1 small package vanilla pudding
  • 3¼ cups milk
  • 8 oz cool whip (for top layer)
  • ¼ cup chocolate sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the crust layer. Crush the Oreos finely in a food processor or bag. Combine with the melted butter until evenly mixed. Spread this mixture across the bottom of your dish, pressing down firmly to create a solid base.
  2. Next, prepare the cheesecake layer. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. Carefully fold in 8 oz of cool whip until well combined. Spread this layer over the crust evenly.
  3. Now it’s time for the pudding layer. In separate bowls, mix the chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding with 3¼ cups of milk, following the package instructions. Layer the chocolate pudding first, then the vanilla pudding on top.
  4. For the final touch, spread the remaining 8 oz of cool whip over the pudding layers. Crumble the reserved Oreos and sprinkle them on top for added crunch and visual flair. Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.

Notes

Allow each layer to set slightly before adding the next for cleaner cuts. Serve with coffee for a delightful pairing.
