Description

A delightful combination of chocolate chip cookies and creamy cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 13×9” pan with parchment paper.
  2. Slice half the cookie dough into 1/4” thick slices and place in the bottom of the pan, pressing down gently to create an even layer.
  3. Bake the cookie crust for 10 minutes.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the egg, sugar, vanilla, and optional lemon juice, mixing until thoroughly combined.
  5. Spread the cream cheese batter over the baked crust evenly.
  6. Layer the remaining cookie dough slices on top of the cheesecake.
  7. Bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and set.
  8. Cool completely and refrigerate before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for easier blending. Patience is key for cooling and chilling the bars before serving.
