Indulge in rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake bars with a crunchy Oreo crust that’s perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush the Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter to form the crust. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
- Pour the chocolate cheesecake batter over the crust in the baking pan.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until set.
- Let cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Heat the heavy cream and pour it over the remaining melted chocolate, stirring until smooth. Pour the ganache over the chilled cheesecake bars.
- Slice into bars and serve.
Notes
For a decorative touch, sprinkle shaved chocolate or cocoa powder on top before serving.
