Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Dredge chicken pieces in the mixture until evenly coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces in small batches until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and water in a separate pan. Simmer gently until the sauce becomes slightly thickened.
  4. Toss the fried chicken in the honey garlic sauce until each piece is evenly coated.

Notes
