Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Dredge chicken pieces in the mixture until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces in small batches until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and water in a separate pan. Simmer gently until the sauce becomes slightly thickened.
- Toss the fried chicken in the honey garlic sauce until each piece is evenly coated.
