A comforting casserole combining savory ground beef, hearty potatoes, and gooey cheese, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (28oz) bag frozen cubed potatoes with onions and peppers
- 1 (10.5oz) can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (10.5oz) can cream of celery soup (or mushroom)
- 2+ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Seasoning to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef in a medium skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Transfer the cooked beef to a large mixing bowl.
- Add frozen cubed potatoes, both soups, and half of the shredded cheese to the bowl. Stir gently.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with an additional cup of shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
Notes
For extra crispy topping, consider turning on the broiler for the last few minutes of baking.
