Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg. Combine both mixtures until a dough forms.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Tear off small pieces of dough, roll in the brown sugar mixture, and layer in the bundt pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then invert onto a serving plate.
- For the glaze, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over the monkey bread.
- Serve warm or cold.
