Description
Big Mac Wraps offer a healthier, customizable twist on the classic burger, combining seasoned beef, zesty sauces, and fresh veggies in a warm tortilla.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1/2 cup diced white onions
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and a pinch of garlic powder to create the special sauce. Set it aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 30 seconds to make them pliable. Spread the special sauce on each tortilla, then add a generous portion of seasoned beef, followed by the cheese, lettuce, onions, and pickles.
- Tightly roll up each wrap, securing them with toothpicks if necessary.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Toast the wraps seam-side down until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the toothpicks and slice the wraps diagonally in half. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Notes
For a lighter option, consider using lettuce as a wrap instead of tortillas. Prepare extra sauce for dipping.
