Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Combine the sliced bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Pour the banana mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Whisk together the flour, rolled oats, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Mix in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the batter over the banana mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly, and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
