Description

A simple and delightful morning treat featuring crispy bread with a soft, runny yolk and gooey cheese, perfect for busy mornings.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices thick bread (sourdough or sandwich)
  • 2 fresh eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread and press a well into the center.
  3. Crack one egg into each bread slice.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the whites of the eggs.
  5. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, until the whites are set and cheese is melted.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Serve hot.
