Description

A refreshing watermelon smoothie perfect for summer, featuring sweet watermelon, tangy lime, and creamy banana.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh watermelon, diced
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • Juice and zest of half a lime
  • 2 tbsp vegan yogurt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup


Instructions

  1. Add all of your ingredients to a high-speed blender in the order listed, making sure the watermelon is added first.
  2. Cover the blender with a lid.
  3. Blend on high, using a tamper to help push the fruits towards the blade.
  4. Pour your smoothie into a glass or into a hollowed-out watermelon rind.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, add more frozen fruit; for a thinner consistency, increase the yogurt or add a splash of water.
