  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 pound (454 g) ground beef
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) cumin
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
  • 5 teaspoon (3 ml) ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Warm the olive oil in a large pan on medium-high heat.
  2. Introduce the diced onion and sauté until it becomes tender, roughly 2 minutes.
  3. Incorporate the ground beef and cook until it becomes crumbly, approximately 8 minutes.
  4. Mix in the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and ground black pepper, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Use lime juice and apple cider vinegar to deglaze the pan.
  6. Pour in the water and lower the heat to medium.
  7. Let the mixture simmer for 8 minutes or until it reaches your preferred consistency.

Notes
