Description

Discover the ultimate Venison Taco Pie recipe! Learn how to create this savory, mouthwatering dish that’s perfect for your next family dinner or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce (227 g)) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound (454 g) ground beef
  • 1 (1 ounce (28 g)) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 ounce (454 g)) container sour cream
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
  • 1 (14 ounce (397 g)) bag tortilla chips, crushed

Instructions

  1. Start by assembling all necessary items. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and spread it evenly across the bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish, then cook it following the instructions on the package.
  3. While the dough is baking, place a large pan over medium-high heat and begin browning the ground beef, stirring frequently until it is no longer pink and has a crumbly texture, about 5 to 7 minutes. Incorporate the taco seasoning into the beef.
  4. Transfer the seasoned beef into the cooked crust; spread a layer of sour cream over it and scatter shredded cheese on top. Finish with a topping of crushed tortilla chips.
  5. Place the dish back in the oven until the cheese has fully melted, approximately 10 minutes.
  6. Once done, serve the dish and enjoy the flavors!
