Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) beef, sliced
- 8 oz (225 g) rice noodles
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetarian oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetarian hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece ginger, minced
- 2 cups (200 g) broccoli florets
- 1 cup (100 g) snow peas
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) sesame oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced venison to the pan and season with salt and black pepper.
- Stir-fry the venison until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add sliced onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the pan.
- Stir-fry the vegetables for about 3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add broccoli florets and snow peas to the pan.
- Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked venison to the pan with the vegetables.
- Add the cooked rice noodles to the pan.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything to combine evenly.
- Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to heat everything through.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper, if needed.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
