Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice the onions.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  7. In a bowl, combine ground venison, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  8. Mix well until spices are evenly distributed.

  10. Shape each portion into a small patty.
  11. Heat the remaining tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  12. Cook the patties in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
  13. Remove patties from the skillet and let them rest.
  14. Slice the slider buns in half and toast lightly if desired.
  15. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
  16. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise.
  17. Add a venison patty on top of the lettuce.
  18. Top each patty with a slice of tomato.
  19. Add a spoonful of caramelized onions on top of the tomato.
  20. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
  21. Serve the venison sliders warm.

Notes

  • Consider adding grated onion to the ground beef mixture for a juicier patty.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or blue cheese to enhance the flavor.
  • Add a slice of crispy bacon to each slider for a delicious twist.
