Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 – 1 pound ground beef (225 – 450 g)
- 1/4 tsp. salt (1.25 ml)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (1.25 ml)
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning (15 ml)
- 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil (7.5 g)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (1.25 ml)
- 2 large naan round bread
- 3/4 – 1 cup tomato-based pasta sauce (180 – 240 ml)
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (28 g)
- 1/4 cup shredded white cheddar cheese (28 g)
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (28 g)
Instructions
- Set your oven according to the instructions on the naan package.
- Warm the olive oil in a big pan on medium heat. Introduce the ground beef, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned. Use between 1/2 to 1 pound, based on your preference for meatiness.
- As the beef browns, melt the vegetable oil and mix in the garlic powder.
- Apply the melted oil blend on the naan and place them in the oven for roughly 3 to 4 minutes. Take them out and keep aside.
- Spread the tomato-based pasta sauce evenly over the baked naan using a spoon, ensuring it reaches the edges.
- Distribute the cooked beef evenly across the two naan breads, making sure they are completely covered. No need to remove any excess fat from the meat.
- Lastly, evenly sprinkle the mozzarella, white cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheeses over the pizzas, covering them entirely. Add a touch more of the Italian seasoning on top and bake for around 4 minutes. Then, switch to broil for about 1 minute. Take out and serve right away.
