- 1 lb venison cube steak

- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup flour

- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions
- Season the venison cube steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge the steak in flour, shaking off any excess.
- In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove the steak and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onion and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits.
- Return the steak to the skillet, cover, and simmer until cooked through.
- If the sauce is too thin, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, then stir it into the sauce to thicken.
