Ingredients

- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) garlic powder (6 grams)
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) onion powder (6 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (2.3 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) cayenne pepper (2.3 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) coriander (2.3 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) mustard powder (2.3 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) non-fat dry milk powder (50 grams)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cold water (120 milliliters)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground venison and ground beef.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the meat mixture.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, coriander, and mustard powder.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the meat and cheese mixture.
- Add the non-fat dry milk powder to the mixture.
- Pour the cold water over the combined ingredients.
- Mix everything thoroughly until well blended and the spices are evenly distributed.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat.
- Using your hands or a meat stick maker, form the meat mixture into snack stick shapes.
- Place the formed snack sticks onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each stick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Allow the snack sticks to cool slightly before serving or storing.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
