Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 8 slices of bacon
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Melt butter in a separate skillet over medium heat, then pour in the egg mixture.
- Gently scramble the eggs until they are just set, then remove from heat.
- Place 4 slices of bread on a clean surface and top each with a slice of bacon.
- Divide the scrambled eggs evenly on top of the bacon slices.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the eggs, then cover with the remaining 4 slices of bread.
- Spread butter on the outsides of each sandwich.
- Grill the sandwiches in the preheated skillet until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve hot.
