Description

Elegant tiramisu tartlets filled with creamy mascarpone and rich coffee ganache, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate (50-70% cocoa solids)
  • ½ cup thickened cream (heavy cream or whipping cream)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated coffee
  • 12 tartlet shells
  • ¾ cup thickened cream (heavy cream or whipping cream)
  • ¾ cup mascarpone cheese
  • ¼ cup caster (superfine) sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare 12 tartlet shells in a muffin tin.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, then blend in the thickened cream, brown sugar, and coffee until smooth.
  3. Fill the tartlet shells with this ganache mixture.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the shells firm up. Let them cool completely.
  5. Prepare the cream mixture by beating together thickened cream, mascarpone cheese, caster sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy.
  6. Spoon this delightful mixture onto the cooled tartlets after ganache sets.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for the ganache and fresh mascarpone for the cream for the best results. Optionally garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
