Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) s whole milk (360 milliliters)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, melted (57 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (5 milliliters)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped walnuts (60 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (60 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sliced strawberries (75 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey (60 milliliters)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) maple syrup (60 milliliters)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the dry mixture and whisk until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Lightly grease the griddle or skillet with butter or oil.
  8. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
