Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s butter (28 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peanut butter (64 grams)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s honey (42 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground cinnamon (0.5 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) vanilla extract (1.25 milliliters)
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place the buttered side of one bread slice face down on a cutting board.
  4. Spread the peanut butter evenly on the unbuttered side of the bread.
  5. Arrange the banana slices evenly over the peanut butter.
  6. Drizzle honey over the banana slices.
  7. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the honey-covered bananas.
  8. Add vanilla extract evenly over the ingredients on the bread.
  9. Lightly sprinkle a pinch of salt over the mixture.
  10. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
  11. Carefully place the sandwich in the preheated skillet.
  12. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
