- – 19 ounces (539 g) canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
- – 14.5 ounces (411 g) canned diced tomatoes with juices
- – 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) beef broth
- – 1 cup (240 ml) fruit juice
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) tomato paste
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) brown sugar optional
- – salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix the minced beef with 1 ½ tablespoons of chili powder.
- In a large saucepan, cook the beef, along with the diced onion, jalapeño, and minced garlic until browned. Remove any excess grease.
