Ingredients

- Turkey bacon, 8 slices

- Vegetarian hard cheese, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams), grated
- Tomato sauce, 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
- Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Onion powder, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
- Lettuce leaves, 4
- Tomato, 1 large, sliced
- Burger buns, 4
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Form the seasoned beef into four equal-sized patties.
- Cook the beef patties in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- In another skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
- In a small saucepan, heat the tomato sauce over low heat.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each beef patty, allowing it to melt.
- On a baking sheet, layer lasagna noodles with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the oven or on a skillet.
- Assemble the burger by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun.
- Layer a beef patty with cheddar cheese on top of the lettuce.
- Add a slice of turkey bacon over the cheese.
- Place a slice of tomato on top of the bacon.
- Add a cheese-covered lasagna noodle on top of the tomato.
- Spoon some warm tomato sauce over the lasagna noodle.
