  • Turkey bacon, 8 slices
  • Lasagna noodles, 4 sheets

  • Mozzarella cheese, 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams), shredded
  • Vegetarian hard cheese, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams), grated
  • Tomato sauce, 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Onion powder, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Lettuce leaves, 4
  • Tomato, 1 large, sliced
  • Burger buns, 4


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Form the seasoned beef into four equal-sized patties.
  5. Cook the beef patties in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. In another skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat the tomato sauce over low heat.
  8. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each beef patty, allowing it to melt.
  9. On a baking sheet, layer lasagna noodles with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
  10. Toast the burger buns lightly in the oven or on a skillet.
  11. Assemble the burger by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun.
  12. Layer a beef patty with cheddar cheese on top of the lettuce.
  13. Add a slice of turkey bacon over the cheese.
  14. Place a slice of tomato on top of the bacon.
