Description

A quick and flavorful weeknight meal featuring ground turkey and broccoli, enhanced with a sweet and spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Cooked rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice or quinoa according to the package directions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the hot skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and sriracha until well combined.
  6. Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli mixture in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  7. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes so the flavors meld together.
  8. Scoop the turkey and broccoli mixture over servings of rice or quinoa. Enjoy your flavorful meal!

Notes

Use fresh broccoli for best texture. Adjust sriracha according to your spice preference.
