Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring ground turkey cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, ready in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the neutral oil, letting it warm for about a minute.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat slightly and add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  4. Cook the turkey for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browned and fully cooked.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour the sauce over the browned turkey in the skillet, stir to coat evenly, and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh garlic and high-quality honey. Adjust red pepper flakes according to taste preference.
