Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup chilled butter, cubed (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 cups fresh diced strawberries


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 7×11 glass baking dish.
  3. Combine the crust ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Incorporate chilled butter into the dry mix until crumbly.
  5. Set aside 3/4 cup of the mixture for topping.
  6. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
  7. Bake the crust for 15 minutes.
  8. Whisk together the filling ingredients in a separate bowl.
  9. Stir in fresh diced strawberries.
  10. Spoon the filling evenly over the baked crust.
  11. Sprinkle the reserved crust mixture over the filling.
  12. Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown and set.
  13. Cool for an hour before cutting into squares.

Notes
