Description
A delightful dessert that combines a crumbly cake mix layer with creamy cream cheese and sweet strawberry filling.
Ingredients
- 1 box of vanilla or French vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1 stick of unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
- 2 cans of strawberry pie filling (21 oz each)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Melt one stick of unsalted butter until bubbling, then mix with the cake mix until crumbly.
- Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the prepared baking dish.
- Slice the cream cheese and layer it over the strawberry filling.
- Sprinkle the crumbled cake mixture on top of the cream cheese.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Great for potlucks and family gatherings.
