A cozy weeknight dinner combining perfectly cooked steak bites with tender broccoli and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (cut into bite-size pieces)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 medium potatoes (sliced thinly for scallops)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Steam broccoli in another pot until tender.
- Prepare potato scallops by layering sliced potatoes, butter, milk, and seasoning in a baking dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes.
- Combine cooked steak and broccoli, then top with shredded cheese until melted.
- Serve alongside the potato scallops.
