Description

Delightful pockets of flaky pastry filled with creamy spinach and spices, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked spinach, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cooked spinach, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a clean surface and cut them into squares, about 3 inches by 3 inches.
  4. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Carefully fold the puff pastry over to form triangles, sealing the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Place the prepared spinach puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

For variations, consider adding different cheeses or herbs to the filling for added flavor.
