Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Fresh cilantro (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced potatoes and cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and crispy.
- Prepare a spice blend by combining salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle the spice mix over the potatoes once they are golden.
- Stir the potatoes to coat them evenly with the spices.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lime juice.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
Rinse diced potatoes in cold water for extra crispiness. Adjust cayenne pepper for desired heat.
